we are very happy to play Bloodstock for the first time - it’s also the very first time for us playing live at a festival in the UK. We are proud that we can play with my friend Doro, so the fans in the UK will get a full package of german female voices power, this year at Bloodstock Festival.

We are back from our amazing tour in Japan. Osaka, Nagoya and two days live in Tokyo made the tour for us for ever in our hearts and soul. We want to thank all the fans for this fantastic time in Japan.
In the next days we are starting to work on a nice small Video about our trip in Japan within a lot of backstage and surrounding information. Also we are working on our first Video Clip for the album „Agony Of The Death“.
We specially want to thank our friends in Japan, which made this tour happen for us in Japan:

Und Holy Moses werden im Rahmen dieses Congress live am 10. Oktober in der Live Musik Hall in Köln, zusammen mit Doro & Cripper live spielen.
Internationaler Kongress, 8. bis 10. Oktober 2009, Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln
Der Kongress, an dem sowohl WissenschaftlerInnen als auch MusikerInnen und Fans beteiligt sind, widmet sich aus interdisziplinärer und internationaler Perspektive Geschlechterrollen, Geschlechterdifferenzen und -stereotypen in der Musikkultur Heavy Metal. Dabei wird der großen Vielfalt des Heavy Metal Rechnung getragen, die sich in seiner 40-jährigen Geschichte und seiner inzwischen globalen Verbreitung entwickelt hat und sich in einer Vielzahl an Subgenres äußert.
Es wird die erste wissenschaftliche Tagung über Heavy Metal in Deutschland sein und die erste Metal-Tagung weltweit, bei der Gender-Fragen im Mittelpunkt stehen.

Es ist wieder soweit: Am ersten Augustwochenende öffnet Deutschlands größtes Heavy Metal Festival WACKEN:OPEN:AIR 2009 (30.7. – 1.8.) seine Pforten. Auch in diesem Jahr präsentiert von METAL HAMMER. Im letzten Jahr sind über 70.000 Fans aus der ganzen Welt zu diesem einzigartigen Festival angereist und in diesem Jahr – nachdem das Festival bereits seit Dezember ausverkauft ist - wird mit einem noch größeren Andrang gerechnet.
Weil im Jahr 2009 beide Klassiker einen runden Geburtstag feiern (WACKEN:OPEN:AIR wird 20 Jahre jung, der METAL HAMMER feiert sein 25jähriges Jubiläum) wird es am Donnerstag den 30.7. ein ganz besonderes Event geben: METAL HAMMER verleiht zum ersten Mal in Deutschland die METAL HAMMER-Awards auf der True Metal Stage. In zwei Blöcken werden insgesamt 12 Awards in den Kategorien:

· Beste deutsche Band

In der Jury saßen neben den Lesern und der Redaktion zahlreiche Musiker wie u.a. Scott Ian von Anthrax, Angela Gossow von Arch Enemy oder Schmier von Destruction.
